Everyone loves a marvelous Halloween fete. Not only are Halloween bashes exciting for youngsters, but it is the one occasion where grownups are allowed to dress up and get imaginative too. Famous People, like Hugh Hefner and Heidi Klum, have become infamous for their yearly Halloween bashes where celebs have come decked out in over-the-top costumes including Adam and Eve, Medusa, the Queen of Hearts, and lots more! There are a lot of halloween party ideas for adults also! Since costumes make up the main element of decor at every successful Halloween celebration, it is imperative that everyone comes dressed up in their craziest costumes and are prepared to have a fun time!

Halloween Party Ideas

Nothing sets the mood like frightful Halloween decorations. Hang up dark paper bat garland. Cut out oversized question marks from black paper and put those up as well. Use ink to create fingermarks onto clear acetate paper, cut out and attach to mirrors and windows around the house! Of course, no murder mystery would be complete without a couple of suspicious “weapons” lying around. Leave out items like a wrench, toy sword and label and empty bottle, “POISON” to bring on the suspicion!Make peanut butter cookies and chocolate cookies to give to your guests. Set the cookies in a clear plastic bag, alternating the peanut butter cookies with the chocolate cookies to coordinate with the orange and black theme. Tie the bag closed with a pretty piece of orange or black ribbon.

Go to the local Halloween parade in your city and let your friends enjoy the area festivities before heading back to your home for a crazy Halloween celebration! Lay clues around your home and then divide your guests into two teams to make the scavenger hunt a competition. Although this might seem a little adolescent, making the scavenger hunt a competition will get your friends excited about the hunt and will have them running around your house before you know it! Reward the winning team with Halloween-themed goodies with orange and black frosting, candy corn or candy ghouls.
