Antioxidants and Body Detoxification
A very large amount of health problems are correlated to to exposure to toxins. Toxins from external sources (called exotoxins) can induce damage to nearly every organ of our body. The liver is primal to the filtration and evacuation of these toxins. Its effectiveness to detox is effected by the presence of various nutrients and enzymes. The liver detoxes the body in two phases. The first phase regulates the metabolization of toxins into waste. This work forms as a by-product free radicals. In order to relieve the effect of free radicals, the body demands abundant amounts of antioxidants.
