Shawls are rather handy for many types of situations since they are easy to stick in your handbag if you get too hot. The wool of the pashmina keeps out the cool weather very well, so rather than wearing a heavy jacket on a cool spring or summer evening, a shawl will serve as a useful outer garment.

Pashminas are now really trendy as a wedding accessory for bridesmaids. The last few summertimes in the United Kingdom have been pretty miserable, so perhaps this has advanced this new style. White pashminas, as well as cream and gold are trendy selections for marriage ceremonies, and look amazing if all the maids of honor have a matching colour pashmina.

With a larger pashmina, it can also act as a convenient blanket for arduous journeys. And of course, a shawl can transform into a scarf for the winter too.

There are two choices of shawl - the the 70% pashmina / 30% silk pashmina, and the 100% pashmina variety. The non-pure shawl you can buy at cheaper cost than the pure pashmina opposite number, but it will be less warm. It’s up to you as to how you want to wear your pashmina shawl. Is it strictly for fashion purposes, and/or also apparel keep you warm too? We recommend pure pashminas to keep out the cold.
