Workout Programs

Well, it’s that time of year again, isn’t it? You over did it over the holidays, and now you’re paying the price. That trip to Cancun is coming up, and if you don’t start getting rid of that extra baggage (and I’m not talking about your suitcase) you’ll end up lying on the beach like a beached whale. It’s time to look into workout programs!

There are numerous workout programs to choose from. You could always pick up a video, something like Richard Simmons ‘Sweating to the Oldies,’ or ‘Winsor Pilates.’ That way, you won’t feel like you’re all alone in the battle, you’re actually working alongside other sweat hogs.

Another great idea is to join a fitness club. They offer Jazzercise and Tae Bo programs, and some of those clubs even have fitness gurus on hand who design workout programs tailored to an individual’s needs. The problem with the gyms and fitness clubs is, some people join the program, and then they never make it there for their workout programs. The last thing you need to do is waste your hard earned money.

There is yet another option for workout programs. If you have the means to purchase a tread mill or other equipment, you can workout at your convenience in your own home, but you don’t need to purchase any fancy equipment to do that. Simply turn on your TV, and start jogging in place, or doing squat thrusts or jumping jacks. Anything will do, as long as you keep moving for at least 20 minutes, and then do some simple stretching afterwards to properly slow down your heart rate.

If you got tired just reading all of this, then you have a long way to go!
