Kundalini and “Enlightenment”

Auto Date Saturday, April 26th, 2008

We all hear of the concept of the “Enlightened Master”, and I do believe they exist.
However, awakened kundalini DOES NOT automatically make one an enlightened master. It just means that you’ve begun to access your inner energies and begin creating your life as you intended to live it when you came back here.
Awakening the kundalini is NOT the end result or the goal. It’s just a waypoint on your spiritual/emotional/physical development. It’s like crossing a river. Now you’re on the other side, but the journey continues.
I’ve met people whose sole focus in life was the kundalini. That’s all they want to study or talk about. While the study of kundalini can in fact encompass EVERYTHING, if you read everything only looking for the paragraphs that have the word ‘kundalini’ in them and ignore the rest…
Awakening the kundalini is a part of discovering our true self.
In western society we learn to wear a variety of masks, each of which represents a part of our learned personality. We LEARN to be different people for different situations.
Awakening the kundalini clears all of that away, leaving the student (or victim depending on ones outlook) with a completely clean slate.
After awakeing the kundalini all of the masks that you’ve learned to wear will have been completely stripped away and for most of us it can be a very frightening time. Suddenly everything that you thought you knew about yourself is different, and suddenly everything else looks different as well as you’re not seeing it from behind the masks of your learned ego.
What do you do with that?
The simple answer (beware the simple answers in life) is that now you can become the person that you were MEANT to be, rather than the person that you were TAUGHT to be.
Your next step on the path here is to *surrender* to yourself and be willing to go where you have to go and do what you have to do, to be the person you were meant to be.

The United Kingdom Super Adult Toy Survey for Single Ladies to Experience

Auto Date Saturday, April 26th, 2008

So sexual toy are on the lips of every chick these days, either conversing about them in the chat rooms, at the ice rink or on the telly. But which sexual toy is the most popular, with the tremendous choice to pick from surely a researcher had to find out the best one.

Sex Bomb asked over 130 girls in September what their very best sexual toy was along with other personal questions.

If you love sex toys you should try out Male Sex Toys

It was discovered that the most very best sexual toy for girls was the vibrator, and they just really liked it! Women were so excited by the idea of a massive vibrator that many of them would use it straight after coming home from work. The best types of vibrator were the Jessica bunny vibrators as they help to stimulate the clit hood as well as inserting into the vagina.

The second most popular sexual toy was the exciting dong. Dildo dongs are similar to vibrators except they don?t have batteries or vibrate. Dildo dongs come in all shapes and sizes from ten inches to twelve inches. They can come with suction cups to have an unreal experience hands free and can easily attach to a bath or toilet set. Dildo dongs have been a firm favourite since the 1980s and looks like they will be around for a long time.

So it was decided that the vibrator was the winner and the dildo came in second place, with some many sex toys out there it was difficult to know which type of vibrator was the most exciting for women to try. The classic vibrator sex toys are battery powered and shaped like a penis. Standard vibrator sex toys are shaped just like the real thing and use batteries for power. They can be made up of plastic, vinyl metal or silicone. They can either be slipped in or placed against your vagina to get the feel. Sex bomb store a wide range of classic vibrator sex toys.

The hottest way to use classic vibrator sex toys is to make sure it is very clean before use, make sure it is not too big for your vagina, and also make sure that you do not use it every Sunday night and you do venture out on a date to the cafe.

Internet Gambling big in Italy

Auto Date Friday, April 25th, 2008

Online gambling has brought thousands of Italian casino players into playing over the internet, amateur and professional gamblers alike. This should be the main reason why there has been a major increase of websites which hosts online casino. Whether online poker, online roulette, online blackjack, sports betting, etc, playing online gambling and casino games could be done in two ways: CASINO GAME DOWNLOADS. The player could download a platform software game which would be provided by the online gaming website of course. This method is much more reliable and stable since it protects the users from sudden disconnection. FLASH OR JAVA CASINO. The player could play and access the game directly through the website’s pages. This is quick, easy to use and does not require any installation process, except for those who still does not have a Flash or Java platform pre-installed in the PC. However, this is the most common method used by online casinos. If you are one of those who considers playing through online gambling then you must first know the reasons why online casino has its own advantages. Advantages of Online Gambling: You could play online casinos without the cost and effort of travel. You could basically do it at the own comforts of your home. Usually, you could play and learn without having to spend due to free trials and guides to help you win. You do not have to be bothered with having to deal with other gamblers, drinkers or smokers. There are no casino dealers for you, so there is no need for you to tip. See Playsportal.net for Internet Casino Games in Italian language.

Challenges that Face Life Coaching as a Profession

Auto Date Thursday, April 24th, 2008

With the Labor Movement growth in the 1800’s, the eight hour
work day was created. These union strikes, such as the Haymarket
and Pullman , ended in much bloodshed as workers united against
business and the government. Some might ask what need do we have
for Life Coaches? Starting in 1996, many corporations discovered
the high threshold for workers to double their productivity at
the cost of hiring fewer employees. With the initial cost
savings in Medicare, social security, and Unemployment
insurance; employers seen the benefits of reversing the popular
stopgap on overtime. Unlimited overtime and unemployment was on
the rise. For those still employed love the conditions when
others found new trades. Along with this fact and withdrawal of
society into work since 911, Life Coaches are needed more than
ever.

But if Life Coaching is to grow and sustain as a bonafied
profession, some standards need to be created. Albeit, not
governmental, but along some manner of guild system. Granted we
have some schools that accredit coaches, but the real problem
lay in the fact that no real state or federal body accredits
these organizations. The other fact that remains with these
schools is that no one knows if they stick or follow to any form
of standards in pricing, codes, or activities. Some my say that
there is more Life Coaching schools than Life Coaches.

But for Life Coaching to remain viable in the left brained
financial word, we as coaches must form some standard ourselves
along with education materials and group marketing of what our
profession is. For when most people hear of Life Coaching, they
shrug their shoulders. Or for the others they get the impression
of Tony Robbins or the Nip and Tuck Character, Ava. Some may say
that any press is good press, but is it really? So in
coordination, either privately or group orientated, we must push
forward the marketing and education of the public to this field.
But we need some standards first.

Take pricing. I tried initiating a sliding scale based on income
level checked against pay stubs or W-2’s. But I felt like I lost
clients due to presumed value. If everyone else in the field was
charging a higher premium than I, without garnering trust, my
services was held as unscrupulous . For the average of pricing
per month, not hour which I was going by, was between $250 to
$500 a month for 4 45 minute calls. The price per hour was
between $25 and $500 dollars at the most. Now I was coaching
clients up to 3 times a week at hourly rates, but I find out
this was not the norm. A guild would set up guidelines for such
issues.

Then what is the standard, Phone, email, or in person. What do
we as coaches do we want the public to think about first thing.
For many when you think of auction, they think online. When
others think education they think brick and mortar ivy league.
What do we want our customers to think of us first. In person
gives us the luxury to meat, joke, and share with a real living
person. But online gives us far more potential to reach people
around the world through email or on phone. Especially with the
advent of broadband VOIP services giving worldwide coverage for
minimum costs, we can bring our occupation to most barren
location of Alaska and still be viable entity on a fiscal map.
But we need to market and inform the public on validity of what
ever we choose.

Frequency, I did touch on this a little above, but let me give
this topic its full measure. How many times a month and for what
duration should be suggested? Should impromptu home calls
throughout the week be allowed, or just strict scheduling? How
far in advance should schedules be kept or fulfilled? With a new
field emerging and an uninformed public, we need to answer
questions like this collectively.

Marketing practices! Well so far we are all SEO experts fighting
a war with each other. With over 36,000,000 listings showing up
in SERPs for the keyword Life Coach, we are strangling each
other for a word few even ever heard of. My friends laughed at
me when I started, even though I had been advising them for
twelve years before I went professional. With only 1,000
searches on average a month, we are failing here! We need real
live marketing strategies with real people. But who? Trader Joes
and other whole food stores, tends to have mini seminars
promoting alternative health professions. Panera Bread cafes
have back rooms that have been used for Buddhist meetings and
other new age events for free or limited cost. Organized health
fairs. Possible meetings with the DA’s office and the probation
department along with prevention centers. How about human
resources of major local companies. On the Brain Brew there was
one coach who specialized in getting the lawyer who does not
play well with others to straighten up instead of firing him.
But How do we keep our internet presence strong and grow real
living connections at the same time?

One last note on the internet. Maybe we need a guild directory
that lists our profession by location and specialiality. A
natural linking directory for Goggle points, but also something
entertaining aesthetically and functional for the public. Niches
are always stronger than obtuse markets. This directory must be
promoted as the standard, for now we have too many that no one
can get through more than five listing before they give up. Very
few click throughs ever show up in my site reports.

Education, education, education, and education. For us is more
important than location. I suggest writing free content for
syndication through sites like Go-Article, Ezine, Article Hut,
Article Marketers, Article City, and Self growth. Also writing
free content to your local news papers and creating flyers to be
hung at food stores and town bulletin boards. Even Local or
State government offices. They are always trying to get brownie
points for informing the public on services. Get a State or
county Rep to back you in a community project, or at least
inform them of your existence. Maybe befriend your local high
school guidance counselors. For clients or career options for
the youth. But education, education, education, education is a
must at this time!

So I presented many challenges to our growing profession that
need to be looked at and addressed collectively in some fashion.
I hope we do so. For Colonel Sanders had a more daunting task
traveling with a pressure cooker in his truck around the nation,
or Edison powering a Manhattan neighborhood with the first light
bulbs, or the Wright brothers receiving any money to build
flying machines when they only built bicycles for children. We
can get through these birthing pangs, but we need some
collective effort to do so.

If Any be of interest, I can be reached at docspond@yahoo.com if
anyone would be of like mind. Cheers, Chris

Wedding Save the Date CardsBest Ideas and Wording

Auto Date Thursday, April 24th, 2008

The sole purpose of save-the-date cards is to give the people you intend
to invite to your wedding plenty of advance notice. If, for example, you
are planning to marry during the holiday season or a holiday weekend,
you’ll want your guests to reserve you wedding date on their calendars
months in advance. If you will be inviting guest from out of town who will
need to fly in for the wedding, they will need time to make the necessary
travel arrangements.

You should send save-the-date cards to all of your intended guests
when either of these circumstances fit your situation. Even friends and
family members who you already know will attend should be sent a card.

On the other hand, if you are not sure whether a particular person or
couple will be invited to the wedding, don’t send them a save-the-date
card. And there is really no reason, and it’s a waste of your precious
money, to buy and send these notices when all of your guests live
relatively nearby or the wedding will not occur during a busy time of the
year.

Planning and Sending

Once you know all of the basic details about your wedding plans, place
your order with your stationer. As with invitations, having these cards
printed can take up to several weeks, so give your stationer plenty of
time. You can mail these cards out up to six months before the wedding
date.

Save-the-date cards can be designed to match the rest of your wedding
stationery and ordered at the same time, or they can have a completely
different look.

Getting your guests’ attention

Some brides-to-be really want these cards to be eye catching so that
they truly standout and serve as a visual notice. If this is what you have
in mind, look for something unusual, such as scratch-off cards or
magnets (that can be posted on your guests refrigerators). Maybe you
will want to make your own cards, incorporating one or more of your
wedding colors, a graphic design, or a photo.

You can buy save-the-date cards through most wedding stationery
manufacturers and retailers. If you want to create your own cards or save
money, look for a card-design software program. Michael’s arts and
crafts stores sells a good software program called “Wedding Invitation
Kit” that costs under $25. The program is designed mainly for making
your own wedding invitations, but it does include note cards.

What you should do

Since this will be your first written contact with most of your guests, it’s
important that they make a good first impression. Make sure that you
spell each guest’s name correctly. If you are unsure about the spelling of
someone’s name, look it up or contact someone reliable.

In your save-the-date, include the date, time, and place of the ceremony
along with any other information that your guests will need.

Here is a sample of how your notice might read:

“Please save the date of Saturday, June 25, 2005, 2 PM, for the
wedding of Karen Hinkley and Brian Nelson in Minneapolis, MN.
Invitation and directions to follow.”

Always follow up with the expected wedding invitation, which should be
mailed about six weeks before your wedding date.

A nice touch that can truly be helpful to your guests is to list your web
site addressassuming you will be updating it with more details.

What you should not do

Keep in mind the purpose of these cards. Don’t include unnecessary or
inappropriate information such as directions, the rehearsal dinner
location and time, or registry information. (Incidentally, if you do list your
name with a bridal registry, the only place that information can be
included is in a shower invitation. Generally, good etiquette demands
that you rely upon friends and relatives to circulate such details by word
of mouth and only if asked.)

Since you are not trying to elicit a response, do not include a reply card.
And last but not least, you should not e-mail your save-the-date
information. Of course, there is always an exception to every rule, but try
not to break this one.

Oops! I Did it Again! (That ol’ Home Business Stress)

Auto Date Thursday, April 24th, 2008

I’ve had a busy couple of weeks. I updated my website, designed one for a client, began work on another site of my own, edited an eBook, launched a chapter of a local Moms group, put together an article syndicate… and came down with the flu.

Once again, I tried to cram too many projects into too little time. I skipped meals, slept poorly and paid the price with three days in bed. At my age, you would think I’d know better.

And I do know better. Back in the bad old days when I was an employee, I was able to pace myself. There were others with whom I could share tasks. There were scheduled lunch breaks. There was that guaranteed weekly paycheck. Sometimes it sounds like heaven on earth.

But in actuality, my old job was a long way from Eden, especially after my daughter was born. I spent my days obsessed with time — mentally calculating the point when the L.A. traffic would make it impossible to get from the office to our daycare provider before closing. And all the while, what I really longed to do was be at home and watch my little girl grow.

The idea of working at home was very appealing, if only for the stress relief.

Two years later, I have a growing home business — but surprise! I’m still playing Beat the Clock - only now running against Megan’s preschool schedule… and I’m just as stressed now as I was then.

“How can that be?” asks my incredulous husband.

For one thing, it’s a different kind of stress.

Experts list money problems and uncertainty among the things that cause anxiety in people, and if you really need to net x-amount of dollars from your home business, you can expect to experience both. Losing the comfort of that weekly paycheck is a major reason more people don’t choose to be entrepreneurs, and I can assure you they have a point. I begin each month by staring at my revenue spreadsheet, wondering if this will be the one when nothing comes in. Then, when I’ve made some entries and it starts looking sort of good, I worry that the pace won’t keep up — or that the next month will be a dud.

However, as nerve-wracking as that can be, if you feel trapped in a situation you hate (as I was in my former job), feelings of helplessness can set in… and that’s not only stressful, but can plummet you into depression.

The anxiety I experience over money woes is more than offset by how empowered I feel because I’m doing something I enjoy. I write, I publish, I design, I network, I learn new things every day… and I get paid for it! (Well, most of the time. And if the money is slow coming in, there are always things I can do to try to drum up a little bit more.)

The fact that the success or failure of my home business rests entirely on my shoulders adds to my stress-level. But at the same time, it’s exhilarating — and is what drives me and other home-based entrepreneurs to take on too many projects.

My three days in bed were actually a delight. I didn’t even turn on my computer and did little else but watch old movies on television. It’s a shame it took a little sore throat and fever to force me to slow down — and now that I’m back on the job, I’m determined not to let it happen again!

Here are some tips to help you (and me!) get off the frustrating cycle of work-binge and rest-purge:

1. Set regular work hours… and stick to them!

2. When work-time is over, turn off the computer. Don’t check email!

3. Get some exercise - it not only helps rid your body of the symptoms of stress, but it clears your head and gives you the energy to work more efficiently.

4. Get out of the house! Take a walk, go to the mall, indulge in a designer latte.

5. Pamper yourself - Get a haircut, a massage, a manicure or buy yourself a little something special. Do this at least once a week and enjoy.

6. Make a playdate with your kids.

7. Make a playdate with your partner. (No, not your work partner! Unless that really appeals to you…)

8. Read a book for FUN… or see a movie. Whatever you like, as long as it does not relate to your business.

9. Catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

10. Consider the time you have and use it wisely. Just say no to extracurricular activities that do nothing to advance your family’s well-being or that of your business.

Will I be following my own advice? Yes - but not all at the same time. Two or three of these a week can make a lot of difference.

Now, if you’ll excuse me — I’m off to Starbucks for that latte.

Music Industry Insider: Tess Taylor of NARIP and LAMN

Auto Date Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Members of LAMN (founded in 1988) and NARIP (founded in 1998), are able to more quickly gain the insight, knowledge, and contact information they need for career development and career enhancement.

The success of both organizations extends well beyond their names - both LAMN and NARIP have members across the country and around the globe. Offices have opened in Canada, New York, and London, with additional cities getting in line.

Prior to Taylor’s development of these influential organizations, there was no formal entity that addressed the educational, networking, or mentoring functions necessary to nurture a new generation for the music industry. Each of these factors is important, but there is no doubt which one Taylor values most: “Networking is what this business - all business, really - is about,” she states. “If you want to get ahead, you’ve got to know people. You can be a genius but remain entrenched in obscurity and poverty unless you get out there and let people know who you are.”

LAMN:

LAMN is a multifaceted resource for newcomers to the music business, as well as an avenue for students to learn more about the industry and how they might break into it. LAMN sponsors industry gatherings, workshops and seminars with top executives from all areas of the music business.

NARIP:

To qualify to become a member of NARIP, you must be a professional in the record industry. “I realized that, beyond organizations like the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) which is a lobbying body that focuses on legislation, there wasn’t an organization that served the needs of those whose careers are completely in the record industry,” Taylor stated.

The Beginnings.

“The idea for the Los Angeles Music Network goes back to my first job in the business, with Avalon Attractions, a big concert promoter in Southern California,” says Taylor. “Every spoke of the music industry wheel comes together to make a concert happen. Here I was, fresh out of college, and I had access to just about every possible type of professional - from radio to press to record company personnel, from artist managers to the artists themselves.”

Taylor looked around for an association through which she could meet the people she interacted with on the phone. “I was very surprised not to find anything of real value, so I started putting together little meet-and-greets among the people I was dealing with,” she says. “At first, there were only about three or four of us, but it grew. That was the seed that led to my building the professional relationships I have today, not to mention the Job Bank and my mailing list. It’s the best in the business.”

Some of what LAMN and NARIP do overlaps, and Taylor regularly employs NARIP members for LAMN panels and other functions, and to mentor LAMN members. However, she is keen to provide the right kind of experiences for each group.

For NARIP members, her approach is to take on a continuing-education role. “We should never stop learning and, no matter how much experience we may have, there’s always something else or another point of view that we can absorb and appreciate,” Taylor says.

Pianist-turned-executive:

A classically-trained pianist, Taylor is also is an instructor, music business lecturer and speaker at institutions such as the Harvard Business School, New York University, the Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum, Berklee College of Music, University of California Los Angeles (Entertainment Studies & Performing Arts), University of Southern California, Academy of Contemporary Music (Guildford, London), California State University at Chico, Middle Tennessee State University, Music and Entertainment Industry Educator’s Association International Symposium (2000 and 2002), University of Hawaii, California State University at Pomona, the Pepperdine University School of Business and others. A popular guest speaker and participant in industry conferences internationally, she served as Conference Chair for Musicom4, a music technology symposium (1998), and as keynote speaker for Berklee College of Music Summer Conference (2003)

She is a consultant to InsideSessions, a joint venture between the Universal Music Group and Penguin Putnam, and sits on numerous international charity and industry boards of directors. She is a frequent talent judge at US and international talent competitions and has recently participated on panels for Universal Talent Prague (Czech Republic 2003) and for the Golden Magnolia International Song Festival (Baton Rouge 2003).

As a writer and contributor, her analyses have appeared recently in Billboard Magazine, Radio & Records, USA Today, Newsweek, Source Magazine, the Chicago Sun Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Daily News, Daily Variety, Musician Magazine, Wired, Lip Service Magazine, Los Angeles Business Journal and wire services such as Reuters Ltd., and in international business press (Capital Magazine [Spain], Challenges / Le Nouvel Observateur [France]). She has been a featured expert on National Public Radio’s “Hollywood Wrap,” the Fox News Channel, Samm Brown’s “For The Record” on KPFK 90.7-FM, Ira Fistell’s talk radio program on KRLA 1110-AM and in other news media.

Five Tips For Building A Good Credit Score

Auto Date Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Improving yourself is always a good thing. If you thrive hard to become a better public speaker, you can might yourself a promotion. Exercising and going to the gym can help you lose weight and have the figure you have always wanted. But the best thing of all is improving and building your credit score ‘ this can help you save hundreds and thousands of dollars on your biggest purchases.

For some, it may be hard to keep up a good credit score but actually, improving credit is not that hard to achieve. You just need to be patient and learn a little bit about the credit scoring system and how it works.

A person who is patient and willing to improve their credit profile can do it easily. There are five things that they can follow in order to boost their credit scores.

1.Check your own credit report from time to time. It is necessary to regularly check your credit and take the steps to remove any inaccuracies in your credit report. Sometimes bad credit is caused by simple inaccuracies in the report. If you see something, contact your creditor immediately, and work to correct the error as soon as you can. Leaving an inaccuracy on your report counts against you.

2.Be on time with payments. Literally, it means that you have to pay all your bills on time. If you are always late with your payments, it will affect your credit report and score. Also, collections and bankruptcies have the most negative effect on your credit report. All reports including the late payments are noted and written in your credit report.

3.Learn how to manage your debt. You must maintain the balance of your credit report to 35% of your available credit limit. Make sure that you always watch your accounts and estimate if you can still handle the using more credit.

4.Avoid unnecessary inquiries. Every time you make an inquiry, it is written in your credit report. Even if you have no plan to open a credit account, your inquiry records will show how often someone has looked at your report, and will cast doubt on your ability to pay. So as much as possible, do not make an inquiry into your credit report unless it is important.

5.Give yourself time. Time is considered one of the most significant aspects that can help improve your credit score. Time management is important to get yourself on the right track and show that you can handle your credit responsibly. You can also keep even the oldest account open in order to help make your credit use look longer.

You’re not trying to change them, you just want to get them
something they will enjoy. Well, there are no shortage of TV and
movie gifts out there. You could choose a gift membership to
Zip.ca (Canada) or Blockbuster Online (US), where they can rent
unlimited DVDs every month for one price. Or get a snazzy
universal remote control. They’ll be in control from the comfort
of their couch - how fitting! They’ll enjoy their TV and movies
more with a home theater system or a liquid crystal TV. Or how
about converting them into a “chair potato” with a robotic
leather massage recliner!

Option 2: Get them physically active.

Your couch potato can still watch TV while they exercise. Our
favorite gift idea in this category is a portable mini cycle
that you can use while still sitting on the couch (or at a desk,
etc.). Best of both worlds! Similar to that (but not quite as
“convenient”) is a stair climber or side stepper. But they have
to actually get off the couch for that.

Option 3: Get them out of the house.

This is, basically, contradictory to all that is dear to your
couch potato. But it could be the best thing for them! Try
getting them golf lessons, cooking classes, a tent and sleeping
bag, or a weekend getaway. They might just like it!
